I recently had the opportunity to meet the owner Rick Young and the is a humble good man! I had to personally tell him how impressed I am on how he runs his business.
I know it's a small thing, but the grocery bags are paper with handles, which come in very handy.
In other words, I Highly recommend the Village market!!!!
Always great produce and meat! People are very very nice and helpful. Parking is easy. There is a gas station, attached to a full grocery store.
Employees were great! Garrett was on the cash register, Chris came over to bag right a way and then I believe her name was Aubrey(?) who took over bagging my groceries. They were all very cheerful and pleasant! Aubrey even helped me with taking my groceries to my car. I love to shop here at Village Market because the employees are always helpful and make you feel welcome. I like how clean the store is as well.
This is a GREAT hometown small grocery chain that keeps their prices down and listens to their customers input.
They're contributors to almost every community event and the staff in the store is genuinely friendly and helpful.
